A Note from the HOA Board of Directors

Dear Residents:

As the community transitions to our new management company, Associa HRW, we would like to thank you for your patience. We anticipate your welcome packets being mailed this week, which will include your account number, Associa HRW contact information, registration on TownSquare (Associa’s homeowner portal) and a fact sheet so owners can update any contact information. In the next several weeks, invoices for the January assessment will be sent. Please note that there will be no interest or fees imposed on anyone that has not paid their assessment to date. However, we do expect assessments to be promptly paid once the notification from Associa HRW is received.

We are looking forward to the improved services that moving to an onsite Community Manager will bring to the Association. In the meantime, rest assured that all common areas are still being serviced and any areas of concerns can be forwarded to Danny in the interim.

Warm Regards,

Katrina Lightbourn
Highland Creek HOA
President, Board of Directors

Santa Visits Highland Creek Tonight and Tomorrow

Santa Visits Highland CreekSanta will be at the lodge for a visit this evening from 6 to 8 pm. We ask that those with last names from A-M visit this evening and N-Z visit tomorrow just to break up the crowds. If you can only make one night or the other that is fine, it’s not a strict rule. Bring your phone or camera and take as many pictures as you would like!

Happy holidays and have a wonderful new year to each and every one of our residents!

News Note -December 12, 2019

Hello Residents,
Please see the below info from our board president:

Dear Community Members,

The Master Association’s Board of Directors has made the decision to change property management companies for 2020.  Please note that this decision is solely for the Master Association and has no impact on the townhome board.  We would like to thank Charleston Management for their many years of service to Highland Creek.

We are pleased to announce that with this change, we will be moving to having an onsite Community Manager.  We ask that if you have not paid your January assessment as yet, please refrain from doing so until you’ve received your welcome packet and information from Associa HRW, Inc.

Thank you in advance for your patience as the transition occurs.

Katrina Lightbourn

Highland Creek HOA

President, Board of Directors

To clarify:

If your dues are set to autopay you may cancel that and wait to set it back up once Associa sends you info.

If you have already paid you will be fine and your account info will be transferred.

If you have not paid you should wait until you receive info from Associa, then pay.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to improve the services provided to you!

Halloween in Highland Creek

Unfortunately it looks like there will be some rainy weather tomorrow evening. We will still have our Kid’s Halloween Party from 6:30-7:30 featuring pizza and candy while supplies last. If you would like to bring your candy up to the lodge to hand out and save the kid’s a trip in the rain to your house that would be great! We will also be collecting any unwanted coats for our coat drive.

Community Yard Sale

Tomorrow morning is our Community Yard Sale at 8 am. We have ads in the News and Observer and others usually place ads on Nextdoor, Marketplace, and Craigslist as well. Just set up your own sale in your yard or garage and wait for the customers. Good Luck!

We will also have our annual Kid’s Halloween Party this year on 10/31 which will feature a coat drive so don’t sell those coats tomorrow! 🙂

Details are as follows:

We will be collecting winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves for elementary and middle school aged girls and boys. Coat sizes should range from 5-14 or from small to X-large. All items should be new or gently used. If gently used, please be sure that the items have been cleaned. All coats and accessories will be donated to Helping Hand Mission,
Raleigh by the first week of November. Many of us have family members, friends & neighbors whose children have outgrown these items. Please feel free to ask if they would like to participate in this drive. Thanking you in advance for your support.
